Sophomores and Juniors:
Here is a local college fair that provides you the opportunity to talk directly with representatives from colleges and universities. This is the time for testing and exploration. A college fair is a wonderful place to start gathering information and learning what you are (and maybe even what you are NOT) looking for in a college.

Challenged Youth Sports is passing along a request for some volunteers to assist with Middletown Day.
The Director of the Middletown Parks and Recreation Department,
Janet Dellett, has been very good to our CYS program, and she is in need
of volunteers to make their Middletown Day a success. If you or a teen in your household can help out, it would be greatly appreciated.
Middletown Day is returning this year to the great lawn at Croydon Hall. On Saturday, September 28 from 12:00pm-6:00pm there
will be a free day of festivities and fun to the residents of
Middletown! This special and important day cannot be done without the
help of volunteers.
They are looking for volunteers in grades 8-12, AND adult for the following shifts:
Set Up, 8:00am - 11:30am
Early Shift, 11:00am - 2:30pm
Late Shift, 2:00pm - 5:30pm
Clean Up, 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Charity Flag Football Game, 5:00pm - 9:00pm (Township Officials and Employees vs. NFL Pros!) *All volunteers are required to purchase a $10 ticket to the game
A
few examples of the volunteer tasks are: running the carnival games,
manning the pony rides, helping with laser tag (new this year!), car
show, and other sporting events.
There will be a meeting held on Tuesday, September 24, at 7:00pm in the East Wing of the Croydon Hall Senior Center.
This meeting is important for all volunteers to attend as they will go
over check in, shifts, and other important information.

Mrs. Caruso 732-681-1010 x3005
Mrs. Gidos 732-681-1010 x3004
Where do I list recognition for National Honor Society?
How do we report GPA? Is it weighted or unweighted? How do I report rank?
GPA is reported on an unweighted 100 scale. We do not rank.

The information is on your transcript and/or the school profile
Just a few other tidbits that may be helpful:
If you're applying to Rutgers it is completely self-reported and you will need to stop by the Guidance office for an unofficial copy of your transcript.
Don't forget to send your test scores directly from the College Board or ACT.
