Thursday's "Always Connected" Seminar at BTHS

If the district closes our schools Thursday, the Always Connected SEMINAR will not be held.  BioTech will send out a  reschedule notification regarding the new date as soon as it is finalized.  If we have delayed opening, the seminar is still on.

Health and Biomedical Science Summer Camp for High School Students

Through lectures and hands-on laboratory investigations in state-of-the-art laboratories, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology, biochemistry and medical ethics.  Students will learn how laboratory science can be translated into improved human health, and they will engage in investigative experiences that will allow them to apply their laboratory skills to real life problems.  In addition, students will interact with practicing professionals in fields such as medicine, physical therapy, toxicology, genetic counseling and biomedical laboratory research. The Health and Biomedical Sciences camp will provide a fun, challenging and engaging college environment in which students will develop a deeper understanding of what it means to be a biomedical scientist and health professional.

National Youth Science Camp

Applications are available through March 1st for this competitive, month-long program.

FDU Idea Competition for Students

Students are given the challenge to submit an idea to a panel of judges who are experts in innovation and entrepreneurship. Students with the most innovative ideas will be awarded cash prizes and recognized at an awards ceremony.
