Parent Program on the Importance of Sleep for the Adolescent

The Samaritan Center Presents “The Parent Academy”
Manasquan-based counseling center to host lecture series focused on the unique challenges facing today’s parents.
Manasquan, NJ- June 1, 2016  The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore, a place for families and individuals to turn for counseling, educational opportunities and spiritual enrichment, is proud to announce “The Parent Academy” addressing the unique challenges facing today’s parents.  The series will include spring and fall sessions.
Based on the Samaritan Center’s mission to provide hope and resiliency through professional faith-based counseling, support groups and education programs, the Parent Academy is a six-session program led by physician experts and counselors-that will encourage parents to work together to encourage each other to learn the skills for success.
The Parent Academy Spring Session will begin in May on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at our Manasquan location, 36 South Street and will feature the following:
·         June 1 – Carol Ash, D.O., Director of Sleep Medicine at Meridian Health, board certified general internist and fellowship-trained pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine specialist with more than 15 years’ experience in clinical medicine,  Dr. Ash has been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Dr. Oz Show. She will present a program on the “Importance of Sleep for the Adolescent.”
