Snowed out of the January SAT at MTN?

 The rescheduled date for the canceled January SAT is confirmed by ETS for Saturday, February 21
 at High School North.

College Board will be sending a confirmation email to students at some point next week with instructions regarding the make-up date including information on any conflict the date may cause.

Information will become available to the students pending College Board’s website updates and email notifications.

Paying for College

Many times I get questions about income planning and asset relocation as it pertains to preparation for filing the FAFSA or CSS Profile. Not being a financial planner, these are usually questions that I can't answer.

Recently, I listened to this podcast with Reecy Aresty entitled Student Assets and CSS Profile: Tips for More Financial Aid Opportunities and believe the information may be beneficial to parents of middle and high school parents.

Each session is limited to 100 participants so if you would like to participate, please register as early as possible. The deadline to register is January 27.

The Yale Young Global Scholars Program is a two-week academic enrichment and leadership training program for talented high school students from around the world, who live and study on the Yale campus during the summer. Students currently in 10th or 11th grade are eligible to apply.

The webinar, which will last approximately one hour, will contain information about each of the two-week sessions, Politics, Law, and Economics (June 23-July 6); International Affairs and Security (July 9-22); and Science, Policy, and Innovation (July 25 – August 7), and will allow time at the end for some Q&A. The application deadline is February 26, 2015 so now is the time to learn more about YYGS and have your questions answered.
